This is the original Accumulator Delete Disk (ADD), designed, refined, and built by a Tacoma owner for Tacoma owners. Born from years of community feedback and on-truck experience, each ADD is hand-machined on a vintage 1940s Craftsman lathe by the original inventor, right here in Ohio. No copies, no mass production – just simple, proven performance.

What is it?
The Accumulator Delete Disk (ADD) – also known as the Accumulator Delete Mod (ADM) – is a proven upgrade for manual transmission:

• 2nd & 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma

• Toyota Tundra with 4.0L V6

• Toyota FJ Cruiser

This precision brass disk disables the internal clutch accumulator found in your truck’s hydraulic clutch system, resulting in:

• Smoother, more predictable clutch engagement

• Better pedal feel

• More consistent shifts

Your clutch will function just as Toyota designed it, minus the vague or spongy engagement caused by the accumulator. The mod is frequently recommended in Tacoma forums (please search online, as eBay restricts direct linking).

Installation Overview:
This is a drop-in part – no cutting, no grinding, no permanent modification. Once installed, it's completely hidden and undetectable without removing the accumulator.

Steps:

1. Remove the accumulator from the vehicle.

2. Separate it from the mounting bracket and discard the factory silver disk and retaining wire.

3. Ensure the original O-ring is seated properly in the groove on the accumulator body.

4. Insert the ADD into the body, cup side in – the pointed center should face inward, aligning with the center hole. The flat side should rest against the bracket.

5. Reassemble, reinstall, and bleed the clutch.

Tip: Use Low Viscosity (LV) brake fluid for optimal results (not required).
Total install time is typically under an hour.
